Dr. Abdul Amir is a native Richmonder and has been in practice since 2004. Dr. Amir received his undergraduate degree from VCU. He received is medical degree from Ross University, School of Medicine. Dr. Amir completed residency training at Seton Hall University, School of Graduate Medical Education. Initial board certification in Internal Medicine, and is board certified in Sleep Medicine and Hospice and Palliative Medicine. Dr. Amir returned to Richmond, his hometown, to raise his family. Dr. Amir's peers have voted him as Richmond Magazine's Top Doc in 2017 and 2018. Dr. Amir enjoys running, skiing, and do-it-yourself projects.
Seong Kim, MPA, PA-C is a board-certified Physician Assistant and recent honors graduate from Eastern Virginia Medical School. She received an undergraduate degree in Nuclear Medicine at Virginia Commonwealth University in 2010 and has worked 6 years in Nuclear Medicine at CJW Medical Center (Chippenham Campus) prior to joining the SCA family. She is excited to be joining the SCA family and looks forward to providing excellent patient-centered quality care.
During her free time, she enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with her husband, pup (Chippi), family, and friends. In addition to English, she is also fluent in Korean.
